The Danish Gourmet Hotdog Champion 2012 is Wassim Hallal, Hotel Frederikshøj - beating Paul Cunningham from Henne Kirkeby Kro. Now the ‘score’ between the two fighting chefs is 2-2, but rumor says that Paul made “Thie Kings Last Hot Dog” and will not return to the competition. Paul Cunningham, ex-Michelin chef at The Paul (Tivoli Garden, Copenhagen) is now the king of Henne Kirkeby Kro on the West coast of Denmark. Michelin chef Paul Cunningham from Copenhagen’s starred restaurant, The Paul, will, from March 30 be taking over the helm at the idyllic inn Henne Kirkeby Kro, in the west of Denmark. While The Paul in Tivoli was based in the old, scenic surroundings by architect Poul Henningsen, Henne Kirkeby Kro is something completely different - but oh, so beautiful.
